A New Fund Form should only be submitted when a new fund is needed and the request did not originate through the Gift Agreement process. If a gift agreement has already been submitted through Launchpad, there is no need to submit a separate New Fund Form. The Gift Intake process will automatically initiate the creation of the fund and route the request through the appropriate review and approval steps.
The standalone New Fund Form is intended for situations where a new fund must be established independently of Gift Intake. Examples may include administrative or operational needs that require a new fund but do not involve a gift agreement. Using the appropriate process helps prevent duplicate requests, reduces manual effort, and ensures funds are created as efficiently as possible.
